On behalf of the governing board and myself, welcome to the Mayer Unified School District!  Our school district continues to make improvements because we have such an important task to provide the best possible educational program for the students.  Many changes have been made over the past couple of years.  We hope those changes are noticed and are pleased that the achievement of the district's students continues to improve.  The improvements are evidenced by such things as the entire senior class passing the AIMS test or the Mayer High School being recognized nationally by the U.S. World and News Report as one of the three best rural high schools in Arizona!  Our middle school Challenge Academy alternative school students scored an average of fifteen percentile points higher than the Yavapai County average scores.

We hope you enjoy this website that has been totally renovated in the past few months.  Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions as to how we can improve the website or our instructional program in general. Although the Mayer Schools are small, they provide so many opportunities.  Again, welcome to our district!
