Welcome!

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to the Mayer Elementary/Jr. High Family. I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new families and to our returning families a sincere Welcome Back! The staff and I are looking forward to working with you and your child(ren) this year.

We want to welcome our Junior High students and families to their newly remodeled campus. We hope the students will embrace the leadership role needed for learning and future growth to succeed in their educational journeys.

We have also been remodeling the elementary to make it a safer school environment for both our students and staff. We have moved our offices to the front of the building to provide you with easier access.

What makes our campus different from the norm? Teachers are committed to providing quality instruction for learners, learners are committed to their education, parents are committed to the success of their child(ren), and the administration is committed to teachers, students, and parents in order to provide an optimal learning experience. This makes Mayer Elementary/Jr. High a school of commitment.

Please, use this handbook to take the opportunity to acquaint yourselves with some routine schedules and procedures of our school as well as policies adopted by the Governing Board. Use this handbook as a ready reference when you have a question about school policies and procedures. If further information is needed, please feel free to call the office at (928)642-1100. Our school office hours are from 6:30 to 4:30.
